The system load curve is a representation of the required pump pressure to move fluid through a fixed hydraulic setup at various flow rates. It helps to match the right pump size for a given hydraulic setup. The intersection of pump supply (flow-pressure curve) and hydraulic setup demand (system load curve) is the maximum achievable duty point.
